Apple Maps Now Available on the Web

Beta Version Compatible with a Range of Browsers

Cross-Platform Accessibility

Apple has announced the release of a beta version of its Apple Maps application for the web, greatly expanding accessibility to its mapping and navigation services. The web version of Apple Maps enables users to explore and navigate the world directly from their web browser, without the need for the dedicated mobile or desktop applications.

Currently, the Apple Maps beta is compatible with a wide range of browsers and operating systems. On Mac and iPad devices, the service is supported by both Safari and Chrome. Windows PC users can access Apple Maps using Chrome or the Microsoft Edge browser.

Apple's support document initially listed only Safari and Chrome as supported browsers for Apple Maps on the web. However, the document has since been updated to include Firefox.
