Create An Ultrawide Monitor With Nvidia

Create an Ultrawide Monitor with NVIDIA

Save space by joining two displays

An ultrawide monitor split into two virtual monitors can save space on the desk versus two physical. It can also provide a more immersive gaming experience. Here's how to set it up with an NVIDIA graphics card.

Setting Up Multiple Displays

  1. Make sure both monitors are connected to the NVIDIA-based graphics card.
  2. Open the NVIDIA Control Panel.
  3. From the NVIDIA Control Panel navigation tree pane under Display, click Set up multiple displays to open the page.
  4. In the Set up multiple displays page, select the two displays you want to join.
  5. From the Configure drop-down list, select Join displays.
  6. Click Apply.

Your two displays will now be joined into one ultrawide monitor. You can use the NVIDIA Control Panel to adjust the resolution and other settings to your liking.

Using the Ultrawide Monitor

Once you have set up your ultrawide monitor, you can use it like any other monitor. You can drag and drop windows between the two displays, and you can even use different wallpapers on each display.

Ultrawide monitors are great for gaming, productivity, and entertainment. They provide a more immersive experience than traditional monitors, and they can help you get more done in less time.
